Hydrogen has a very important role in the Electronics Industry. Its
wide and successful application in the electronics industry include the
following. In manufacture of Circuit, quartz melting, semiconductor
production, polysilicon production, epitax wafer production, and
production of fiber optics. Hydrogen is widely used material for the
deposit of epitaxial films on silicon wafers, that are used for
production of semiconductors worldwide. Now coming to the Production of
Hydrogen, the majority of Hydrogen is produced by a well known process
of steam methane reforming. In this process Hydrogen is typically
generated from a hydrocarbon (often a natural gas) and water at very
high temperatures using catalytic reactors. Afterwards the Hydrogen is
purified using the very effecive and economically viable technique of
Pressure Swing Adsorption.
Nitrogen is also very widely in the electronics industry. Nitrogen is
used as a blanketing medium in the manufacturing of electronic
components such as diodes transistors and electronic circuits. Nitrogen
gas gets acquired for industrial purposes by a process of air separation
utilizing Pressure Swing Adsorption.
